MURRAY, PADDY HOGAN AND EMMET QUEENAN WHO WERE SHORTLISTED
FOR DUNLOP SEXTON YOUNG RACING DRIVER OF THE YEAR AWARD
TAKE PART IN SKILLS TEST
The reigning Young Racing Driver of the Year, Eoin Murray,
rising star and Formula Renualt driver, Paddy Hogan and
Emmet Queenan, winner of this year's Formula Ireland Championship
who were recently shortlisted for the prestigious "Dunlop
Sexton Young Racing Driver of the Year Award" all took
part in a special skills test which was held in Mondello
Park, Tuesday 2nd November. The test was judged by former
racing driver Martin Donnelly.
The three demonstrated their skill by competing in time
trials in a Formula Renault single seater. The skills test
is just one element of the judging process to ultimately
find the overall winner of the Young Racing Driver of the
Year. The Award will be announced at the annual Alfa Romeo
/ Motorsport Ireland "Awards for Excellence in Irish
Motorsport" lunch which is due to be held in Dublin
on 30 November.
