European Alfa Romeo Champion Eoin Murray gave a very strong performance in his debut in the BTCC at Croft this weekend. Driving the Argus Car Hire.com backed Alfa Romeo 156 he qualified fourteenth on the grid for race one, eventually working his way to tenth position by the checkered flag.

Despite carrying maximum weight of 45KG on his car for the weekend he still managed to finish race two & three in a very credible eleventh & twelfth place respectively.

Commenting afterwards Eoin said ‘’ I am delighted with the performance of the car and the team this weekend we have learned a great deal about the car already and this is information which will be put to good use before we go to Donington Park in two weeks time. I am satisfied that we have a strong package and with the support from Reynolds Logistics and Argus Car Hire.com we are well positioned to make a step forward.’’

Eoin is run by team Quest formerly known as GA Motorsport though now choosing to run under the name Quest, the name used during their very successful period running Formula Fords. Team Principal is Mike Thompson ‘’This weekend was a steep learning curve for us with a new car and driver & I am delighted with how the team and Eoin performed. I am looking forward to a very good run over the remainder of the Championship’’



The next round is in Donnington Park on the 30th July.
